The Hills Long Day Preschool has exceeded every expectation. The educators provide such thoughtful learning experiences, communicate clearly with families, and create a beautiful sense of community. We have been members of the Hills Long Day Preschool community since our eldest child started there in 2019. The environment created by the owners and staff at the pre-school is one of care, compassion, learning and independence with educators catering to children as individuals, and partnering strongly with families to deliver exceptional care. The centre ensures children’s safety and development is a priority, and both my children have thrived under the care of the dedicated staff who go above and beyond each day to deliver an exceptional service. I would recommend hills long day preschool to anyone looking for a centre where you can be assured your child’s needs and development will be met in a safe and compassionate environment. My daughter has attended this preschool since Jan 2025- it is a beautiful small family owned preschool with a large outdoor play area.

We have found that the preschool is a great mix of a warm approachable environment combined with the structure needed to prepare kids ahead of starting school. Our daughter has blossomed in her first year there and we have found the feedback provided from her teachers to be detailed and personalised.

Highly recommend if looking fot a extended hours preschool in the Hill area.

We have had an amazing experience at the hills long daycare. Our little 4 year old boy was enrolled a couple of months back, and the environment, educators and other kids have welcomed him and he feels very settled. Plenty of outdoor and indoor space with lots of activities. Good prep for going to school next year.

My son attended 3 different preschools, and this is his favourite. He talks about the teachers and other kids all the time, that's all you need to tell that this is a great preschool! All the teachers are patient and caring, the backyard is huge, I recommend it to anyone who lives in the area.

The Hills Long Day Preschool is an established family-owned early learning centre, licenced to care for up to 39 children per day from 3 years to 6 years of age. Our Approved Provider, Donna, opened the service in 1994, and we have been operating for 30 years. We specialise in getting your little ones ready for the next big step of their learning journey by providing an outstanding early learning environment.

The Baulkham Hills preschool operates between the hours of 7:45am - 5:45pm, Monday to Friday, approximately 49 weeks of the year, closing for 2-3 weeks at Christmas time. Our extended opening hours help support working families.

Morning and Afternoon Tea are provided by us, and we ask that families pack a nutritious lunch.

We offer a two-year school readiness program for children aged 3-5. Our focus for school readiness is holistic and covers a wide range of skills that will give your child the tools to thrive in the primary school setting.

We offer access to the OWNA platform, where you can keep up to date with what your child is doing, including observations, learning stories with lots of photos and our centre events.

Our preschool is very unique, offering the the school readiness program with extended hours for parents that need it. Being owner operated for over 30 years, we deliver an unmatched home-from-home learning experience.
